Don’t get your DNA in a twist, it’s just a movie! Honestly though, I could see this happening in the not too distant future. Genetics is an intriguing subject to tackle and this film did a great job showing the fears and concerns genetically superior people can be over just normal folks born the good ol’ fashioned way. Ethan Hawke and Jude Law were great in this, and despite Uma Thurman’s genetic deficiencies (what?!) She was also very good in this film, although I wish she would have let loose a little bit, she was very wooden (due to her character, not her acting choices). This movie also has a gorgeous score that I could listen to over and over. Alan Arkin’s sticktoitiveness gets on your nerves but in a good way, you just don’t want Hawke to get caught! You should see this movie, a believable sci-fi movie that has some good suspense in it as well. Check it out, otherwise I’ll suspect you are an invalid!
